From 8.45 am Students timetables will be distributed in the gymnasium

9.00 am           Whole school assembly in the gymnasium. All students expected to attend

9.40 am           Advocacy meetings. All students expected to attend

10.30 am         Recess

10.50 am         Session 2 classes, as per students’ timetables
‘Study Hall’ in the Resource Centre for students who do not have a timetabled class

12.20 pm         Lunchtime

1.05 pm           Session 3, as per students’ timetables

2.35pm            Advocacy

2.50pm            End of school day

 Session 2 ‘Study Hall’

This year we are introducing supervised ‘Study Hall’ sessions which will be held daily in our Resource Centre during session 2 (the session between recess and lunchtime). All students who do not have a timetabled class during session 2 will be expected to attend these supervised study / research / homework sessions. Staff have been timetabled on to supervise these sessions and to assist students, with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy. We are planning for a range of volunteers to also take part in these sessions to coach students in a range of subject areas.

About Us

Corio Bay Senior College provides for year 11 and 12 students and adults from across the Geelong region. Our overriding aim is to raise students' achievements. We have an "Aim Higher" vision.

The College provides a choice from 2 Senior Secondary certificates - the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). Vocational Education and Training and Structured Workplace Learning is integrated into students' individualised programs.
